Return Policy

OVERVIEW

All returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of your purchase date. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Our return policy is broken down into 3 main categories - physical items that are shipped to you, downloadable software, and software licensing.

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

For physical products to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

For any mis-shipment, where SoftwarePeer.com sends you an incorrect item, then there will be no cost to return the product and have a replacement sent to you. For any item where you received the correct item, the shipping expense of the return is your responsibility and there will be a restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Instead, contact us and we will provide return shipping instructions.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • If the item has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Any item opened that does not have all original packaging so that it can be re-packaged as it was delivered to you.
Refunds (if applicable): Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within approximately two business days. Credit will only be provided for the cost of the item. Any original shipping charges are not refundable.Defective Items (if applicable): We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at service@SoftwarePeer.com and we will provide return instructions.

 

DOWNLOADABLE SOFTWARE

Once a downloadable software product is delivered to your email address, it is not returnable. We understand that installing downloadable software can sometimes have difficulties. In the circumstances where you are unable to get your software installed, we have support technicians on staff that will assist you in getting your software installed. Our support technicians will even connect into your computer remotely to install your software for you. Your order will be eligible for a refund only in the rare circumstance where our support technician is unable to install your software for you.

Please be aware that once a product key is added to your Microsoft account it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged - even if you haven't downloaded it yet, or made a mistake and ordered a Windows version for a Mac and visa versa. Once you add a product key to your Microsoft account, it is yours forever, and there is no way to unassign it from your account, therefore it cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

 

SOFTWARE LICENSES

Software licenses are not returnable, but they can be exchanged for a different license from the same Manufacturer. Software licensing policies are subject to any other restrictions of each individual software manufacturer.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 109 E. 17th Street Cheyenne Wyoming United States 82001, unless otherwise directed to on your return instructions.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs to you are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping

Methods
We offer Next Business Day, Second Day and Ground Shipping. Actual shipping costs will be determined by the method selected along with the weight of the product(s) and distance.

Tracking
We maintain tracking numbers for all shipments. Once an item has shipped, the tracking number will automatically be emailed to the shipping recipient. A signature will be required for all deliveries. We ask that our customers be patient and if you have not received your product within 3-5 days of order, email us and we will retrieve the tracking number for you. This policy allows us to reduce our administrative costs and keep our prices low.

Electronic Delivery
If you purchase your product(s) and it states they have an electronic delivery method or download, you will receive the required product/license key in the email you specified on your order with us.
